Don't use underline for emphasis
Most browsers display links with underlines. Underlines are generally considered to be the bane of typography, but on the Web in particular you should avoid using underlines for emphasis, since underlines are associated with links -- your users will in general expect underlines to represent links, and if they aren't, they will be inconvenienced.

Refer to titles with italics or quotes appropriately
Use elements of good writing style; learn the difference between quotes and italics for naming titles of stories, poems, novels, etc.

Avoid typographical errors
Typographical errors will frustrate and annoy your users. Proofread your text.
